The Man Behind The Wheel
Carlos Liriano is a true example that the
American Dream is alive and well. Born in
Cuba, Carlos and his parents immigrated to
America and made a home in New Orleans,
Louisiana when he was nine years old. Over
the course of 25 years, Carlos gained valuable
experience climbing the ranks of various
automotive organizations in Louisiana. From
his stint at Don Bohn Ford in Harvey

Louisiana, to his role as General Manager of both Toyota of Slidell and Northshore Toyota, Carlos developed a proven track record of success as a hands-on, full-time dealer operator. Carlos' Toyota dealerships won numerous awards such as Charter Dealer for Signature Certification, Market Share Leader for GST in both cars & truck sales several years running, multiple President's Awards, Pinnacle Awards, and TMS Corporate Sales & Service Excellence recognition.
As a Cuban refugee, Carlos learned by his father’s example that hard work and persistence are rewarded. After spending a majority of his life toiling in the car business, he fulfilled his long-term goal of owning a dealership in March of 2012 as dealer principal.
Carlos and his family (Christy, Carmen, Scott, and Michael) moved to the Historic

District in the City of Bastrop weeks before the devastating Bastrop Complex Fires in 2011. The Liriano family’s experiences are deeply inspired by Bastrop's commitment to the environment through its "green" initiatives and its dedication to historic preservation.

This inspiration led Carlos to understand that a cookie-cutter building did not belong in Bastrop County. Instead, he envisioned a facility that embodied the community’s core values. As a result, Lost Pines Toyota became the forefront of the Green Initiative in the Central Texas Region and is revolutionizing the way car dealerships do business.Over the years, the Liriano's have devoted themselves to the Lost Pines community and have been
instrumental in numerous community activities. Carlos is especially passionate about hosting local events at the dealership, creating spaces for neighbors and families to come together. He also proudly sponsors events across the town, supporting causes that reflect the values of Lost Pines Toyota and the broader Bastrop community.
In addition to his contributions locally, Carlos is deeply involved in various industry and community organizations. He serves as a board member for the Toyota and Lexus Minority Dealer Association, the Texas Automobile Dealers Association, the Bastrop Automotive Advisory Board, and the Liriano Family Foundation. He also lends his leadership to the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers, as well as the Bastrop, Elgin, and Smithville Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, Carlos is a dedicated member of the Bonnabel High School FCA Board, demonstrating his commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders.
Carlos’ leadership extends far beyond the dealership. His passion for making a positive impact has earned him over 50 awards since
